Executive Assistant, Last Mile Engineering

DESCRIPTION:

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an Executive Assistant to support the leader of Amazon's Worldwide Engineering & Innovation (WWEI) NA Process, Design & Innovation Engineering organization in Bellevue, WA.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

Key job responsibilities
Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones, coordinating with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
Own travel coordination, expense reporting, and event logistics (including large all-team meetings and innovation summits)
Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and liaison - triaging communications and anticipating needs
Support org-wide programs including QBRs, leadership reviews, promotion cycles, and team engagement initiatives
Help drive operational rhythm for a growing, high-impact engineering organization

About the team
We are the engineering backbone behind Amazon's Last Mile delivery network - designing, building, and continuously improving the processes, systems, and physical infrastructure that power millions of deliveries every day. Our org spans multiple sub-teams including Process Engineering, Design Engineering, AI Design, PE Automation, Process Innovation, Systems Design, Design Benchmarking, and High Volume Equipment - working on everything from facility design and automation to next-generation delivery solutions like Quick Commerce. We partner cross-functionally with operations, science, and program teams across NA and globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience handling administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
