Financial Analyst II, ASSPL Finance Team

DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:
- Build financial analysis models driving operational decisions across the Amazon network
- Working on cost out initiatives
- Working on long range plan, annual budgets etc
- Automate existing models and tools to contribute in scale-up of the Amazon Transportation Network
- Operations planning and cost planning for the Network
- Weekly, Monthly Variance Analysis & reporting
- Evaluate and improve methodologies that are the core of our business models and tools
- Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process, productivity improvements and cost savings initiatives
- Manage the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly results reporting
- Facilitate financial review meetings with key partner business groups

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent), or MBA
- 3+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
