DESCRIPTION:

Amazon is seeking an experienced 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) Manager to oversee the strategic operations and performance of our critical third-party logistics provider network. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring our 3PL partners consistently meet our high standards across key areas such as operational performance, cost management, continuous improvement, network integration, escalation processes, and provider relationship management. The position requires up to 40% travel to local 3PL sites and Amazon facilities.

Key job responsibilities
Responsible for managing and controlling performance, cost and capacity of external fulfillment logistics provider (3PL)
Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance. Maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL.
Contribute and lead major projects within the MENA Operations Fulfillment / Supply Chain / Transportation to support business and selection growth.
Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external customers
Optimize the flow of Import Containers into the Site closely collaborating with Amazon Global Logistics
Contribute to contract negotiations with our external fulfillment partners.
Prioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations.
Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across Amazon's Retail and external fulfillment teams.
Willingness to travel (~40% across UAE and also broader MENA)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
