We're hiring a senior product leader to help shape the future of AI-powered shopping at Amazon.

Alexa for Shopping is reinventing how hundreds of millions of customers discover products, make decisions, and get things done, from finding the right product to tracking prices and automating everyday shopping tasks. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of generative AI, agentic experiences, and commerce at extraordinary scale.

The Principal PMT for Rufus International will define how we build Rufus for the world. This leader will own the product vision and multi-year technical strategy for global expansion, making "Worldwide from Day 1" the default across every marketplace and surface. They will identify and drive the foundational investments needed to dramatically reduce the time, cost, and complexity of bringing Rufus innovations to customers globally.

With Rufus already serving customers across Europe, Japan, India, and Canada, this is a rare opportunity to shape the architecture and operating model behind one of Amazon's most ambitious global AI products. The Principal PMT will make consequential product and technical decisions spanning global feature parity, localization, skills and tool integrations, and platform evolution, while empowering international teams to innovate faster and build experiences tailored to their customers.

This is a highly visible, high-impact role at the intersection of generative AI, global commerce, and platform transformation. The Principal PMT will represent the Rufus International strategy in senior leadership forums and align leaders across product, engineering, science, and international teams on the priorities, investments, and trade-offs required to bring the future of AI-powered shopping to customers around the world.

Key job responsibilities
-Own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Rufus International, making WW from Day 1 the default across locales and surfaces.
-Define the capabilities and architectural investments required to reduce the cost, effort, and time to deliver Rufus experiences globally.
-Shape technical and architectural decisions to ensure international requirements are incorporated into platform design from the outset.
-Prioritize global investments and resolve trade-offs across customer needs, market requirements, technical complexity, and long-term scalability.
-Partner with product, engineering, science, and UX leaders to align roadmaps, architecture, and resource investments around a common WW strategy.
-Define the global operating model across central and international teams to accelerate scale and minimize duplicated investment.
-Represent Rufus International in Director- and VP-level forums, driving alignment on strategy, priorities, investments, and cross-organizational decisions.
-Establish mechanisms and success metrics to measure global scalability, customer experience quality, and the effectiveness of WW from Day 1 investments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- development, or technology experience.
- Experience communicating product strategy and influencing decisions with senior leadership through written narratives and executive reviews.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience defining and scaling technical platforms or self-service capabilities that enable multiple teams to independently build, launch, and operate customer-facing experiences.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
