Principal, Quick Commerce Ops, BR Operations Team

DESCRIPTION:

Amazon Brazil is scaling at an accelerated pace and as part of this growth trajectory, Amazon launched Quick Commerce in Brazil - deliveries in 15 minutes. We are now seeking a Principal-level strategic leader to own the Quick Commerce program within Operations, driving the next phases of the business, defining the long-term operational strategy, and scaling the program across Brazil, reporting directly to the Head of BR Network Design and Latam Quick Commerce. The Principal will lead program execution, define the operational roadmap, influence cross-functional teams (Business, Finance, Tech, Supply Chain, Transportation), and own the path from current state to a scaled, best-in-class operation. The right candidate thrives in white-space environments, builds structure from ambiguity, and delivers business outcomes with complete independence, building from-scratch with strategic accountability.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Quick Commerce operational strategy in Brazil.
- Serve as the Operations point of contact for Quick Commerce, aligning stakeholders across business, Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance, and Technology on a unified roadmap.
- Define and evolve the operating model including fulfillment processes, inventory strategy, delivery promise architecture, assortment logic, and partner management frameworks.
- Lead the strategic evolution of the Quick Commerce program, identifying opportunities to improve quality, cost, selection, and customer experience at each phase of growth.
- Create scalable mechanisms (SOPs, planning cadences, performance frameworks, escalation paths) that enable the business to grow without linear headcount dependency.
- Own the business case and financial framework, influencing operational plannings investment decisions at VP-level leadership.
- Drive speed and delivery experience as core differentiators, ensuring Quick Commerce meets customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners (3PLs, logistics providers, local operators) to support operational execution.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks across regulatory, tax, labor, and capacity dimensions unique to Brazil.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience scaling an organization through rapid growth or expansion
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis, or experience making strategic business decisions and managing internal relationships
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience in project or program management
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience in supply chain

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
