DESCRIPTION:

We're seeking an exceptional Principal Engineer to join our WW Fulfillment By Amazon (WW FBA) organization, where you'll directly impact Amazon's five key priorities: increasing speed, reducing Cost to Serve, driving worldwide FBA seller success, growing international markets, and making FBA one of Amazon's best workplaces. You'll help build and optimize the systems powering FBA's massive global operation that enables 2M+ sellers across 196 countries to bring approximately 55M ASINs to customers with Prime shipping. Our organization manages seller inbounding journey-from registration as an FBA seller, shipment creation, to transportation and optimizing time to prime and responsible for seller success. These systems will direct the flow of 19B units across 500+ Fulfillment Centers in 2025, driving $392B in worldwide Gross Merchandise Sales. About the team
WW FBA team is responsible for the science, business, and operations of the core systems, algorithms, and seller-facing tools and workflows of the FBA service. These systems enable FBA sellers to enroll selection, plan and inbound product, and manage and action inventory in Amazon fulfillment network - managing through the full inventory lifecycle. FBA Inbound systems and products worldwide enable FBA sellers to inbound inventory to Amazon warehouses for distribution and fulfillment on and off amazon, be the success multiplier for selling partners by delivering trusted, simple, and flexible supply chain services that move billions of units into Amazon's global network reliably, transparently, and cost-effectively.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
