Procurement and Facility Manager, Site Procurement Operation

As a Site Procurement Manager (SPM) for the Amazon Fulfillment Center, you will serve as the bridge between Global Procurement and the site leadership. You will own the site's procurement responsibilities, including vendor management of services and goods, purchase order management, and inventory management.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead a team of 30 people, and guarantee safety and compliance on their activities.
• Serve as procurement subject matter expert on the site, delivering strategic guidance and operational excellence
• Control inventory and packaging materials forecasting
• Lead local vendor negotiations and relationship management
• Drive cost optimization and innovative procurement solutions for the site
• Oversee P2P (Procure-to-Pay) end-to-end flow for the site
• Partner with Finance on budgets
• Manage facilities services contracts (janitorial, utilities, etc.)
• Ensure vendor SLA compliance through KPI monitoring
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews by weekly audits


A day in the life
Work is done in a warehouse environment that requires frequent walking around the building.
Due to the interaction with Global Teams, English is a mandatory Basic Qualification.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- Experience in the following procurement domains: Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, and/or Shipping Supplies
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience in team leadership
- Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in facilities management
