Program Manager, Sub Same-Day

DESCRIPTION:

We are expanding our Sub Same-Day network in Japan and need leaders in Program Management to drive scalable improvements across fulfillment centers, supply chain, and last-mile delivery. You will manage initiatives related to SSD planning and lead continuous improvement initiatives that impact program availability and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to join the growth of our rapidly expanding network and solve complex operational challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.



Key job responsibilities
A successful candidate will lead programs, partnerships, innovations, and features to lead and drive SSD planning initiatives, ensuring sustainable processes, efficient Operations and exceptional CX.

You will partner closely with multiple functional teams and stakeholder groups, including Supply Chain, Field execution, Tech teams, Transportation Network Planning, Retail Delivery Experience, Japan Consumer innovation, Fresh and Customer Service. The ability to influence without authority and execute with speed will be critical to success in this role.
The ideal candidate should possess:

Coordinate and gather requirements from multiple partner teams to develop long term solution for mid term and short term horizon.
Communicate and drive long term initiatives, actively work to remove bottlenecks and create scalable mechanisms and use Supply Chain knowledge to influence process enhancements.
Effectively influence stakeholders without having direct authority. Drive clear, precise, and regular communication with stakeholders to include ongoing project/program status via monthly and quarterly planning reviews.
Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in the process while partnering with established markets teams to benchmark the best practices to drive implementation and adoption for emerging countries.
Contribute to mid to long-term Capacity design, process standardization and development of innovative solution for new and existing emerging countries.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
