Amazon is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to work on system design, implementation, and release to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience in system design, analog and digital circuit design, possess good communication skills, and have the ability to own a component or sub-system from concept to manufacturing

Key job responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing and certification
- Writing and developing functional specifications, design verification plans and test procedures
- Designing and implementing complex embedded system, analog and digital circuit design and systems debugging
- Supporting product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
- Implement Engineering Change Orders
- Work with cross-functional teams as required by the project
-Execute tasks to ambitious schedules

A day in the life

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields
- Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Experience in analog and digital skills with embedded systems
- Experience in embedded systems projects
- Experience in schematic entry and layout tools (familiarity with OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro tool flow is a plus)
- Experience designing schematics containing analog and digital electronics
- Familiar with PCB layout design and best practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with FPGAs, VHDL, microcontrollers, microprocessors and mixed-signal designs
- Experience with serial communication interfaces (CAN, SPI, Ethernet, etc.)
- Proficient with Matlab and PSPICE for analog circuit simulation
- Experience with Python
