Senior Marketing Manager, Global Executive Marketing, AWS Global Executive Marketing

United States , New York
Salary: $130,000 – $185,000 Annually
Full-time

DESCRIPTION:

AWS Global Executive Marketing (GEM) is responsible for how AWS engages its most senior customer leaders. We design and deliver the strategy, programs, and experiences that build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and shape how they perceive, evaluate, and partner with AWS.

This role owns the strategy for executive content predominantly at 1P events in a space where the playbook doesn't exist yet. You will define what good looks like and drive outcomes across teams without owning them directly.

Success is measured by the reach, longevity, and flywheel of executive content. The successful candidate thinks in systems, leads with business outcome storytelling (not technology), and partners closely across teams and stakeholders to ensure content is framed in customer context. You are comfortable with ambiguity, hold an exceptionally high bar for quality, and have experience crafting narratives for C-suite audiences.

Key job responsibilities
•Shape, source, and build (where gaps exist) executive content that is programmatic, reusable, and stays fresh across cycles for 1P events
•Define what GEM delivers to partner marketing teams in content and establish clear scope lines
•Partner with speakers, product marketing, subject matter experts, and marketing teams to ensure content leads with business outcomes and reflects executive sensibility
•Identify where core executive content can become programmable and actionable - moving beyond static deliverables into assets that can be activated, personalized, and scaled
•Operationalize content so executive insights translate into targeted assets across programs and touchpoints
•Build frameworks and playbooks that enable repurposing across channels to extend reach and lifespan
•Design an operating model where content compounds and feeds the next cycle rather than living as one-off assets
•Build distribution frameworks that map content to campaigns, channels, and stakeholder needs
•Track reach, longevity, and engagement to refine strategy and continuously raise the bar

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, executive marketing, account-based marketing, or a related strategic marketing function.
- Experience designing and delivering marketing programs or engagements for senior executive audiences (VP+ or C-suite).
- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and communications in a matrixed organization.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in technology or cloud industry marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business or technology concepts into clear, executive-relevant positioning.
- Experience with executive briefing programs, advisory boards, or executive event formats.
- Track record of building repeatable frameworks or processes in a scaling organization.
- Strong business acumen: comfortable reading earnings calls, 10-Ks, and industry analysis to inform strategy.
- Experience with marketing measurement beyond lead generation: influence, engagement quality, account penetration.
