Senior Program Manager, Quick Commerce, Japan, Speed Services Japan

DESCRIPTION:

Amazon has exciting opportunities for leaders in Operations Management within our rapidly expanding Quick Commerce (QC) network in Japan. Our dynamic environment offers candidates significant challenges in front-line management and driving scalable, continuous improvements across our QC stores, supply chain, and last-mile delivery teams.

We are looking for operations/supply chain experienced candidates for the role of operations SME (Subject Matter Expert). This position offers the candidate unique position of operating at the intersection of operations and technology across IB supply chain, store operations and Last mile.

Key job responsibilities
Define Ops BRDfrom QC tooling across FC and LM.
Benchmark cross-geo tech capabilities for any parity asks.
Work with Tech/product teams for entitlement, BRD, milestone plan
Own new operation models : DSP, Channel, 3P
Work with Ops and OpsEx for launch (incl. first cut SoP, adoption tracking and RoI attainment for year launches.
Work with Orbit, STAR, CO for automation and insight generation across processes.
Track Configuration update for all stores
Own Ops modelling for new initiatives
Field validation of Ops ask
Operations validation and user acceptance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
