Senior Sales Manager, Strategic Accounts, Strategic Accounts

DESCRIPTION:

AWS is seeking a world-class sales leader to manage the team responsible for our largest customers in the Strategic Segment.

The Sales Manager will provide global strategic leadership and manage a team of Strategic Account Managers who support our largest multi-national customers. You will build and maintain strategic relationships between AWS and these customers, hire the team, and engage direct and virtual resources. You will define a CXO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorship, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will manage the goals, objectives, and performance of the team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 12+ years of sales experience
- 7+ years of experience leading sales teams working with large global customers.
- 10+ years of selling experience in multi-national global customers as lead Account and Relationship Manager.
- BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field. (MBA preferred)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in hiring a global team.
- Experience setting and executing a strategy for a federated enterprise working with multiple business units.
- A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas, SaaS, PaaS) would be preferred but not required.
- Experience as a sales and/or technical manager with a proven ability to scale an organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required.
- Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
