Key job responsibilities
In this position, you will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, user experience designers, and various other teams. A successful candidate will have an established background with strong technical background, exceptional engineering skills, excellent communication abilities, and the drive to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will engage in coding while also mentoring junior engineers, guiding them as they contribute code to the program.

About the team
Amazon Music Automotive builds the in-car music experience for millions of customers across CarPlay, Android Auto, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), and Car Mode. We own the end-to-end client experience. Our work ships on iOS and Android to hundreds of millions of devices worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
