Sr. Program Manager, Fraud Prevention, WW Gift Cards

India , Bengaluru
Full-time

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Program Manager to join the Worldwide Gift Card Fraud Prevention team in Bangalore. You will partner with Payment Risk (BRP), Gift Card Engineering, Account Integrity, and regional business teams to drive fraud and abuse prevention programs across 17 marketplaces.

You will own cross-functional coordination across four areas: fraud investigations, mitigation actions such as machine learning and rule deployments, brand-level risk monitoring, and operational reporting. You will act as a thought leader who influences the roadmap and prioritization for the risk and analytics teams. Working from incomplete signals, you will form a view on where exposure is growing and shape the investment response, including where to adjust selection and purchase limits to address it.

This is a high-visibility role, with regular exposure to senior leadership through monthly and quarterly business reviews.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the worldwide fraud and abuse prevention program for gift cards, accountable for the bad debt and customer experience outcomes it delivers across 17 marketplaces.
- Influence the roadmap and prioritization for the risk and analytics teams, forming a view on where exposure is growing and shaping where the organization invests to stay ahead of it.
- Set the risk framework that governs brand-level interventions, deciding when the team acts and when it holds, and making the tradeoff calls where loss prevention, customer friction, and business growth pull against each other.
- Own the narrative on program performance and risk posture in monthly and quarterly business reviews, and drive the decisions that come out of them across science, engineering, and business partners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- 7+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
