The Shopping Experience team seeks a UX Designer Intern to help us improve purchasing experience at Amazon. We work hard every day to make Amazon experience simpler to everyone, by pursuing a zero-frustration journey. As an UX Designer Intern, you will work close with Product Managers and partner with Amazon global UX teams to learn best practices on Design and Research at Amazon, in order to propose the best-in-class improvements for Mexican customers. We expect you to be passionate about creating experience people love and eager to learn a lot.

As an intern, you will be matched to a mentor. In addition to assisting on an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other interns throughout your internship. No matter the location of your internship, we give you the tools to own your project and learn in a real-world setting.

Interns at Amazon Mexico work 6hs a day (30hs/week) for 12 months. Participants will join Amazon as Interns at our CDMX Office in Mexico

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Design or related fields with a graduation conferral date between May 2025 and December 2027.
- Interest in design tools, methodologies and trends
- Share your online portfolio or examples of design-related work demonstrating your UX design skills. (these examples can be pulled from school projects, personal projects, or from any previous work experience)
- Eagerness to learn a lot and investigate challenges to present reasonable solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- • Previous UX experience building solutions for a consumer facing App/Website
- • Knowledge of UX Designing tools (e.g. Figma, etc.)
- • Proficient written and verbal communication in Spanish
- • Ability to communicate in English
