Video Producer/Editor, AWS Owned Content

United States , Seattle
Salary: $139,400 – $188,500 Annually

DESCRIPTION:

Are you a visual storyteller who gets excited about turning complex technology stories into sharp, engaging video content that earns attention, not just impressions? Do you thrive on quick-turnaround production and know how to make something look great even when the timeline is tight? The AWS Owned Content team is seeking a versatile and creative Video Producer/Editor to help take our visual storytelling to the next level.

Key job responsibilities
•Own end-to-end production of video content from pre-production planning and scripting through shooting, editing, and final delivery.
•Operate camera and audio equipment in a range of settings, with a particular strength in fast-turnaround, editorially driven production where you may be planning, shooting, and editing within the same day.
•Edit video content to a high standard, including assembly, color correction, sound mixing, motion graphics, and formatting for multiple platforms and aspect ratios.
•Develop creative concepts and treatments that translate complex technical topics into compelling, visually driven stories for non-technical audiences.
•Step in as on-camera presenter when the format calls for it.
•Collaborate with teams across AWS to identify stories, align messaging, and shape editorial direction.
•Manage production logistics including scheduling, equipment, location scouting, and coordination with internal and external talent.
•Build and maintain scalable production workflows that allow a small team to publish consistently and at a high-quality bar.
•Stay current with video trends, platform best practices, and emerging formats - particularly across YouTube, social video, and short-form content.
•Contribute to the team's broader content strategy by surfacing story ideas and identifying opportunities where video can add the most value.

A day in the life
This is a hands-on, end-to-end production role. You'll be operating cameras, building edits, and shaping narratives. Much of the work will be fast turnaround and you'll need to move quickly from brief to published package. The ideal candidate brings a storyteller's instinct, a producer's discipline, and an editor's eye. They thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two projects look the same.
