The Senior Accountant will play a key role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timely completion of all financial processes. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality accounting records, supporting monthly and annual reporting cycles and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. 

What You'll Do

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of financial transactions within the ERP system. 

  • Prepare and execute payment runs across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls and company policies. 

  • Perform detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to bank accounts, customer and vendor balances, accruals, and other general ledger accounts. 

  • Process payroll documentation and prepare payroll reports across applicable jurisdictions. 

  • Support month-end closing and the preparation of management accounts. 

  • Assist in preparing and submitting VAT/tax returns and other statutory reports. 

  • Assist in coordinating statutory and tax audits, including the preparation of required audit schedules, supporting documentation and responses to auditor queries. 

  • Collaborate with all finance team members to ensure alignment and efficiency across financial operations. 

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other accountants. 

What We're Looking For

  • Chartered / Certified Accountant or equivalent qualification. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Finance role. 

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting. 

  • Proficiency in D365 and advanced Excel. 

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style. 

  • Proactive, organised and focused on continuous improvement. 

  • Experience in the gaming industry is desirable but not essential
