Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of next-generation EGMs (Electronic Gaming Machines) through our Refurbishment Center. This role requires a strong background in BOM ownership, root cause analysis, DFSS principles, and supplier collaboration.  The ideal candidate will bring experience from fast-paced product development cycles, working closely with cross-functional teams from concept, to commercial mass production through end-of-life.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the mechanical design for sustaining our portfolio of EGMs.
  • Ownership of the maintenance of our BOM’s for NPI (New Product Introduction) and RPI (Refurbished Product Introduction).
  • Collaborate with internal partners -  Electrical Engineering, Quality, Field Service, and Manufacturing Engineering & Operations teams to define, develop and implement mechanical solutions.
  • Implementation of best practices such as tolerance analysis, GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA to ensure a design is reliable, manufacturable, serviceable, safe in operation, and complies with product & regulatory requirements.
  • Create and iterate 3D SolidWorks models, 2D drawings and BOM lifecycle management for the life of a product.  
  • Ownership of ECO’s from creation through implementation utilizing our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools. 
  • Work with FEA simulation experts to optimize your designs.
  • Conduct design reviews, lead root cause analysis, and implement improvements to product design and reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support organizational design best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in new product design, manufacturing with a focus on mechanical engineering.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Deep knowledge of injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, and machining processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-volume product development, DFM/DFA principles and refurbishment principles.
  • Hands-on experience with product testing, prototype evaluation, and reliability testing.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and material selection for recyclability and the environment.
  • Proficiency with 3D & 2D CAD systems (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Experience with BOM management utilizing PLM systems (Siemens Team Center preferred).
  • Experience creating and processing Engineering Change Orders.
