About the role

As a Cost Analyst at Avery Dennison, you will play a critical role in evaluating financial data, operational costs, and product profitability to support key business decisions. You will work closely with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to analyze manufacturing costs, identify variance drivers, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

This role is offered on a hybrid basis from our Saray location.

  • Conduct monthly product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis to evaluate operational efficiency.
  • Monitor standard vs. actual production costs and identify key cost drivers across manufacturing lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise lean sigma initiatives and cost optimization projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses for management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and group financial policies.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cost Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional departments in a dynamic environment.
