About the project:

Capco is supporting a global insurance client in scaling and standardizing the integration of a digital policy administration platform across multiple markets. Building on an initial implementation, the project focuses on creating a consistent, repeatable integration model that connects the platform with core backend systems and surrounding ecosystem components (e.g. CRM, data platforms) via a centralized integration layer. This approach aims to simplify system interactions, improve flexibility, and accelerate onboarding of new markets and partners. Capco acts as the integration partner, responsible for refining architecture, identifying gaps, enabling global rollout, and establishing a Center of Excellence to drive delivery, governance, and ongoing enhancements.

About the role:

We are looking for an API Integration Engineer to support the delivery of modern integration platforms and API-driven solutions for global financial services clients. You will work within agile engineering teams, helping to develop scalable RESTful services, cloud-based integrations, and modern deployment pipelines across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and backend integration services
  • Build and support JSON-based integrations across enterprise applications and platforms
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and automated deployment processes
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions
  • Support API management and gateway configuration activities within complex technology ecosystems

Required skills & experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering 
  • Experience developing and supporting REST APIs and integration services
  • Knowledge of JSON, GitHub, and modern CI/CD tooling and practices
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, with Azure experience considered an advantage
  • Experience working within agile software engineering environments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
