This 12-month fixed-term role offers hybrid working with some UK travel, giving you the flexibility to make an impact while developing your HR career in a truly rewarding environment.




Your future duties and responsibilities


In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across a broad range of Employee Relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and commercially balanced outcomes. You'll manage complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters while applying strong employment law knowledge and professional judgement. Working closely with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders, you'll also contribute to strategic HR initiatives, policy development, and process improvements that enhance the overall employee experience.

Key responsibilities:
Advise & Support managers and employees on complex Employee Relations matters
Manage & Resolve disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance cases effectively
Partner & Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders on HR initiatives
Develop & Improve HR policies, procedures, and best practice frameworks
Analyse & Maintain HR data and reporting with strong accuracy and attention to detail
Contribute & Influence continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experience
Support & Guide stakeholders with pragmatic, commercially focused HR solutions




Required qualifications to be successful in this role


To succeed in this role, you'll bring strong HR generalist experience with a particular focus on Employee Relations within a fast-paced environment. You'll be confident managing complex cases, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and balancing employee wellbeing with business priorities. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement will be essential.

Essential qualifications:
Proven experience managing complex Employee Relations cases across multiple business areas
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
Strong analytical capability with experience using Excel and HR data reporting
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Degree-level education or equivalent experience
CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification
