Job Overview

The Business Systems Administrator will work with various department heads to gather and document requirements that assist in determining systems and processes that improve efficiency and deliver cost savings to the company. They will create process documentation, training aids, training videos, and reporting for the assigned applications and business processes. This role also supports the testing, rollout, and ongoing sustainment of system enhancements, new features, and process capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and governance standards. This team will be the first level support mechanism for troubleshooting, project, and program intake.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Executable tasks will be managed through the ServiceNow platform, integrating with daily business operations and systems used by the Consolidated Sales and Service organization
  • Responsibilities include data planning and loading, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, documentation of business and customer processes, and mitigating business or technology concerns.
  • Includes end-to-end system testing, validation, and support of system enhancements and new feature releases across supported platforms to ensure functionality, stability, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborates with various business areas to develop process requirements; partners with key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and prioritize functional requirements that optimize overall business outcomes.
  • Creates, updates and maintains business process workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in both written and visual formats.
  • Creates and/or facilitates business systems training, partnering with Learning and development as needed.
  • Provides reporting and insights related to system usage, performance, and SLA adherence to support business decision making.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong initiative and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with business partners, customers, teammates, and leaders required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills with the ability to draw insights from data and recommend actionable solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to ambiguity, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer applications to include Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 to up to 5 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ability to create and conduct presentations, gather project/ systematic non-technical requirements is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with business systems, Salesforce, Genesys telephony platforms, or similar enterprise applications preferred.
