As a Consultant within our Global Indirect Tax Center of Excellence based in Poland, you will directly support timely and accurate VAT compliance across multiple European markets, strengthen risk management processes, and contribute to digital transformation within our tax operations.

What You'll Do for Us
Prepare, review, and submit indirect tax returns including VAT filings, European Sales Listings, and Intrastat reports for assigned entities in scope.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to indirect taxes, ensuring accurate coding and financial statement integrity.
Monitor compliance risks and support health checks and audits through timely, detailed analysis and preparation of supporting documentation.
Respond to internal stakeholder queries on tax treatment and transaction coding, providing functional guidance while supporting business continuity.
Collaborate with process teams on indirect tax matters, including system enhancement initiatives and automation to improve compliance accuracy and reporting timelines.
Participate in digital transformation efforts by assessing process improvement opportunities and supporting implementation of technology-based solutions.
Stay informed on operational and regulatory changes impacting European VAT compliance to ensure continuous alignment of processes and controls.
Contribute to risk mitigation plans by proactively identifying discrepancies and partnering with functional teams to resolve compliance issues efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 2+ years' experience in indirect tax compliance or advisory roles, preferably within a multinational organization or Big4 environment.
Practical understanding of European VAT regulations and compliance frameworks with proven ability to interpret and apply requirements.
Hands-on experience with ERP and tax compliance tools, ideally SAP and MS D365, combined with proficiency in ITX accounting processes.
Advanced analytical aptitude and high attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities under strict timelines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in working with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
Fluent written and spoken English required; additional European languages are an advantage for cross-border support.
Familiarity with digital solutions and eagerness to support technology-driven process innovation.

Base Salary: 134000 PLN to 211000 PLN
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 7.5%
Annual incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
