Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares for and conducts Sales Orientation Classes, which educates new hires on Gallo standards, policies and basic selling and merchandising skills using the Gallo Sales Manual as a guide.
- Evaluates applicability and relevance of all orientation handouts and updates as needed.
- Provides on-the-job training for new sales representatives in accordance with the Modular Training Program.
- Develops the trainee’s understanding and execution of his/her job description by using the material taught in Sales Orientation Class and applying it in the field.
- Monitors the progress of each trainee’s development during the Modular Training Program through maintenance and distribution of the monthly Module Report, which keeps track of modules turned in and 60/120 day performance evaluations.
- Travel is required to offices, sites and meeting locations for meetings and events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance with at least the minimum state required levels
