Why we need this role
Lead business development and sales execution within the hyperscaler and neoscaler sectors across Asia by leveraging a wealth of knowledge, experience, and capability to drive meaningful business outcomes. Responsible for generating and managing a pipeline of complex, project‑based opportunities, engaging with senior stakeholders, and positioning Colt’s network and digital infrastructure capabilities to address customer requirements by building new infrastructure and maximizing the utilization of existing assets—both for specific deals and to strengthen Colt’s future infrastructure footprint. Collaborate closely with fiber engineering, infrastructure planning, operations, and product teams to deliver competitive proposals, accelerate deal cycles, and drive sustainable revenue growth in a fast‑evolving market.
What you will do
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting hyperscaler and neoscaler customers across Asia to expand Colt’s market presence and achieve long‑term revenue objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of complex, project‑based sales opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent progression through the deal lifecycle.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders within customer organizations to understand strategic priorities, shape requirements, and position Colt as a trusted infrastructure partner.
- Design customer solutions by working with internal teams to integrate Colt’s network and digital infrastructure capabilities—leveraging new builds and optimizing existing assets.
- Lead infrastructure‑related opportunity development, ensuring alignment between customer demands and Colt’s long‑term infrastructure footprint and investment strategy.
- Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with fiber engineering, infrastructure planning, operations, and product teams to build competitive proposals and meet customer timelines.
- Accelerate deal execution by removing internal blockers, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring customer readiness from initial engagement to contract signature.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth by maintaining strong customer relationships, monitoring market trends, and recommending strategic initiatives in a rapidly evolving digital infrastructure landscape.
- Develop and build relationships at all levels of seniority within each existing account
- Ensure meaningful Account Development Plans are in place and updated frequently
- Achieve/overachieve personal booking and revenue targets
- Deliver reporting (pipeline, forecast, win-loss ratio) to manage achievement of booking and revenue targets

- Understanding of the Hyperscaler Market:
Possess deep knowledge of hyperscaler business models, infrastructure strategies, and procurement processes to align Colt’s value proposition with customer needs.

- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies:
Strong understanding of cloud architectures, services, and deployment models across major cloud platforms.
- AI Knowledge:
Familiarity with AI concepts, emerging technologies, and practical applications that drive customer value and digital transformation.
- Project Management Expertise:
Ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects end‑to‑end, ensuring timely execution, risk control, and alignment across functions.
- Financial Acumen:
Solid understanding of commercial structures, pricing models, business cases, ROI analysis, and financial risk assessment for large‑scale deals.
- Large Deal Experience:
Proven track record of leading and closing high‑value, multi‑country or multi‑domain deals, involving complex technical and commercial negotiations.
