Deputy Domestic Manager

£35,000 DOE | Addenbrooke's Hospital

Make a Real Impact in One of the UK's Leading Hospitals

We're looking for a proactive, people‑focused Deputy Domestic Manager to help lead domestic services at Addenbrooke's Hospital, one of the UK's most respected healthcare environments.

Working with Medirest (Compass Group), you'll play a key leadership role in delivering safe, compliant, and high‑quality cleaning services that directly support patient safety and exceptional hospital experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Support the delivery of high‑quality domestic services across clinical and non‑clinical areas
  • Ensure compliance with NHS Cleaning Standards, infection control, KPIs, and H&S regulations
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teams
  • Support audits, inspections, and service improvement initiatives
  • Help plan staffing, deployment, equipment, and resources
  • Build strong relationships with clinical teams and Trust stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and service excellence

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in hospital domestic services or soft FM
  • Proven experience leading or supervising large teams
  • Strong understanding of regulated or fast‑paced operational environments
  • Confident communicator with a people‑first, patient‑focused mindset
  • Organised, proactive, and able to perform under pressure
  • Experience with audits, rotas, or compliance standards (desirable)
