About the role

We're currently recruiting a Driver to join Chartwells on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

You'll be on the road keeping our sites supplied, delivering food and equipment safely, on time and with a friendly word for everyone you meet.

What you'll do

• Delivering food, supplies and equipment safely and on time
• Loading and unloading the vehicle carefully, checking orders are complete
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any faults
• Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and safe
• Following Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures, including temperature control where needed

About you

Our ideal Driver will:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have a safe and responsible approach to driving
• Be friendly and professional with customers and colleagues
• Be reliable, with good timekeeping
• Be comfortable lifting and carrying deliveries
