Location: London, EC1A 4AB

Salary: £44,000 per annum

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) approximately 8am-4pm

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Front of House Manager to lead a busy workplace dining operation serving approximately 800-1,000 customers daily.

This is a highly visible role focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining outstanding service standards, and leading a large Front of House team. Working closely with the wider leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a fast-paced, high-volume foodservice environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Front of House team, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure an outstanding dining experience for all customers.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance support.
  • Lead a Front of House team of approximately 8 team members, growing to around 15 as the operation expands.
  • Directly manage and develop one Front of House Supervisor/Assistant Manager.
  • Report directly to the Account Manager, working closely to deliver operational excellence and service standards.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across all customer-facing areas.
  • Ensure food displays, labelling, and allergen information are accurate and compliant.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary and leadership teams to continually enhance the customer experience.
  • Support health & safety compliance and drive best practice across the operation.
  • Assist with hospitality and event delivery when required.

About You

  • You are a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and leads by example.
  • Experience in a Front of House, Restaurant, Hospitality, or Catering Management role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage teams.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing service standards within a busy hospitality environment.
  • A proactive and positive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence building relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders.
