Salary: £51,000 per annum + discretionary bonus
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:30am - 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of a five-star reception and guest experience across a large, high-profile corporate site.
- Manage, motivate and develop a team of 14, including receptionists, an events coordinator and a deputy manager.
- Oversee six reception areas across multiple floors, ensuring a consistent and professional service throughout the building.
- Manage a varied operation covering meet-and-greet services, visitor access passes, meeting room bookings, switchboard calls and executive reception services.
- Oversee the executive reception and fine-dining experience, maintaining exceptional standards of presentation and attention to detail.
- Lead from the front, providing visible support and direction during busy periods and responding quickly to operational challenges.
- Take ownership of all people-management matters, including performance, absence, lateness, investigations, disciplinary processes, training and development.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning to ensure each reception area is appropriately staffed.
- Monitor service performance and prepare detailed monthly reports covering visitor numbers, meetings, switchboard activity, team updates and events.
- Coordinate pop-up activities and corporate events across the site, ensuring teams are fully briefed and each event runs smoothly.
- Build strong relationships with the client and internal teams, handling feedback and complaints professionally and finding effective solutions.
- Ensure the team follows all relevant procedures, including access control, room-booking systems and client service standards.
- Create a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture focused on excellent service, professionalism and staff retention.
- Report to the Head of Customer Experience and support the wider customer experience strategy.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Proven leadership experience within a corporate reception, guest services or workplace experience environment.
- Experience managing and developing customer-facing teams, ideally within a large-scale operation.
- Strong understanding of reception services, visitor management, meeting room bookings and client-facing operations.
- Confident handling recruitment, training, performance management and employee relations matters.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong focus on service excellence.
- Experienced in reporting, analysing service performance and managing multiple priorities.
- Professional, organised and highly presentable, with the confidence to lead from the front.
- Experience within a corporate reception environment is highly desirable.
- Flexible to support occasional early mornings, evenings and client events when required.
