This temporary position is part of the Global Product Stewardship department, located in Stargard, Poland, and is an on-site role at Radiometer.

You will join the Global Product Stewardship department and report to the Senior Manager, Global Product Stewardship, who is based in Denmark. The department is responsible for ensuring compliance with global legal and safety requirements, with a particular focus on electrical safety and chemical safety for medical devices and in vitro diagnostic equipment. Global Product Stewardship is part of the Sustainability function, which is a fast-evolving area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Driving the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements for packaging, electronic equipment (WEEE), and batteries (BATT).

  • Interpreting chemical legislation relevant to our products, such as REACH, RoHS, PPWR, and CLP, and communicating requirements across the organization.

  • Responding to customer compliance requests.

  • Conducting legislation evaluations and impact assessments for areas such as REACH, RoHS, and CLP.

  • Driving global compliance for packaging.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Working with product standards and regulations.

  • Fluent written and spoken English.

  • Experience using common IT tools, including Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work independently without daily face-to-face contact with your closest colleagues or manager.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements for packaging, electronic equipment (WEEE), and batteries (BATT).

  • Global compliance for packaging.
