The Hardware Engineering Intern is responsible for:

  • Designed and developed a demonstration board, including feasibility assessment of an alternative microcontroller for an optical detection system
  • Analyzed and produced technical documentation for embedded software systems
  • Testing and redaction of the associated technical feasibility reports

 

This position reports to the Senior Hardware Engineering Manager and is part of the R&D department, Hardware team located in Grens, Switzerland and will be an on-site role.

 

What you will do:

  • Mechanical sizing and design calculations, including chain of dimensions and tolerances
  • CAD drawing
  • Testing in a laboratory environment

 

Who you are:

  • Completed a minimum of one year in Mechanical Engineering Bachelor of Science (BSc) cursus or equivalent
  • Knowledge in CAD software suites (Solidworks or equivalent) and analytical design is a must
  • Fluent in English is a must

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge in Gantt chart and planification tools is a plus
  • French language is a plus
