Role Description

• SAP-Services team is responsible for building & managing SAP platforms, including platform architecture/design, SAP-Basis delivery, HANA databases , SAP software logistics ( SDLC ), platform compliance, production stability etc. across all SAP landscapes across the bank,
• Your role will bring contribution to support, maintain and enhance the SAP SDLC capabilities ( Cloud ALM, CHARM , Github , BTP ) along with basis capabilities

Your key responsibilities

• You will be responsible for SAP SDLC support and enhancement with modern day tools/technologies, supporting SAP system installations and upgrades, and ensuring compliance with financial industry regulations:
• Oversee SAP Cloud ALM / GitHub/ JFrog Artifactory based DevSecOps tool chain and support migration from SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
• Engineer custom code for modernizing and safeguarding the DevSecOps toolchain (in ABAP/Python) for SAP RISE, GCP or on-premises hosted applications holistically.
• Integrate Audit-Requirements & SDLC-process-controls in SAP Development & Deployment-Workflow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve transport failures, deployment issues, system inconsistencies, and performance issues.
• Execute on the strategy to modernize the SAP Software Development Lifecycle for all SAP applications in Deutsche Bank.
• Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) to ensure secure and compliant movement of configurations and custom developments across SAP environments.
• Plan, implement, and manage SAP DevSecOps and SAP Software Logistics processes (e.g., Transport Management, SAP Cloud ALM, Github, SAP Solution Manager [including ChaRM])
• Optimize transport strategies and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Stong hold on Git/Github to steer intergartion and functioning with SAP world
• Hands-on SAP Basis/HANA/BTP SME support, hands-on and ability to lead around topics like
• SAP migrations, upgrades/updates, implementation projects, Cloud Migrations/adoptions, HANA activities.
• Regular requirements like Refreshes, tools/plug-ins adoption/updates/replacement, HANA partitioning/optimizations,
• Stakeholder management, project co-ordination/mgmt.
• Documentation, Change management processes
• Hands-on at service now/Jira tools for clocking changes, INCs , stories , tasks etc.
• Audit management
• Incident management, problem management.

Your skills and experience

• SAP Basis / HANA strong Expertise across SAP upgrade, migration, installation , cloud migration / adoption, production stability, performance issues/optimizations
• Proven software development skills (ABAP, Python, Scripting)
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM, GitHub, TMS.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based SAP environments (SAP RISE, SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA modules, and SAP Fiori applications and familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible) for SAP automation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and excellent communication skills to collaborate with IT teams.

• OS - UNIX, Windows ,Cloud – GCP, Database - Oracle , HANA
• Project Management experience incl. tools (JIRA, Sharepoint, Confluence) beneficial
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and multiple internal teams

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
