Position Overview

Role Description

  • We are looking for a Senior Engineer (ITAO) to join our team, driving key initiatives under the Risk Reduction Program (RRP). This role focuses on strengthening the application security posture, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance, and enabling scalable, secure platforms across our application landscape.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in enterprise IT governance, information security, and risk & control frameworks, along with a hands-on approach to execution, stakeholder management, and transformation.

The IT Application Owner is responsible for assessing the current technology landscape, identifying gaps, and driving improvements aligned with security, compliance, and strategic roadmaps. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying infrastructure and application gaps and defining remediation actions
  • Balancing delivery objectives with compliance requirements
  • Enhancing application security posture and operational readiness
  • Supporting audit remediation and reducing technology risk
  • Driving implementation of IT governance and information security policies
  • Evaluating and introducing new technologies aligned with best practices

Your key responsibilities

  • Execute risk reduction initiatives across PlatformNow applications
  • Drive implementation and onboarding of key security and compliance controls, including:
    • On-prem to GCP Artifactory migration
    • Central Identity Administration and Central ALM
    • CertHub onboarding and certificate lifecycle compliance
    • Encryption in transit (mandatory control enforcement)
    • Application Penetration Testing (APT)
    • Workload Identity Federation (WIF) migration
    • Data masking and data protection controls
    • 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) onboarding
    • Cryptographic key management
    • Onboarding to approved/authorized platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure solution design and implementation
  • Identify gaps, track remediation progress, and ensure closure of audit and risk findings
  • Drive automation and standardization of security controls
  • Provide governance updates, reporting, and stakeholder communication

Your skills and experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Information Security, IT Governance, and Risk Management
  • Hands-on experience with security controls implementation in enterprise environments
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and migration programs
  • Solid understanding of IAM, encryption, certificate lifecycle management, and key management
  • Experience with application security testing and vulnerability management (IPTs, APTs)
  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and drive initiatives end-to-end
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Skills (adds value)

  • Experience in banking / financial services environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory and audit frameworks (SOC, SOX, internal audits)
  • Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tracking tools
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and automation practices
