As the Senior Technical Product Manager, Advertising, you will lead key advertising technologies within our stack and make them outstanding in delivering speed for advertisers. You will ensure advertiser budgets are used efficiently on and off eBay to deliver maximum return on investment. You will also drive innovation in billion-dollar products by investing in new growth opportunities.

What you will accomplish:

  • Drive Product and Business Strategy

  • Lead the roadmap for critical components of ad serving

  • Champion innovation in AI, generative models, automation, and intelligent defaults to transform the advertiser journey

  • Partner closely with commercial and finance teams to align technical roadmaps with overarching business strategy

  • Complete relentlessly on product requirements with engineering and analytics teams

  • Leverage AI/ML to optimize core ad serving, improving incremental sales velocity, advertiser ROAS, and budget utilization

  • Push product and engineering teams to pioneer breakthroughs and lead innovations within the broader ad tech community

  • Cultivate a culture of progress driven by applying rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and deep data analysis

  • Represent your product area in senior leadership forums, seamlessly translating complex technical strategies into clear business impacts

  • Collaborate with program and operations teams to guarantee flawless roadmap execution and timely delivery

What you will bring:

  • 6-8 years of experience in technology product management, with 3-5 years of dedicated experience in digital advertising

  • Domain expertise in core ad tech, specifically ad serving infrastructure, auction dynamics, and core ad stack architecture within marketplaces, e-commerce, or high-scale consumer platforms

  • Strong technical proficiency with a confirmed ability to understand how brand-new backend systems advance product metrics

  • Deep analytical capability with a data-first approach and outstanding experimentation skills

  • Hands-on experience developing products that incorporate artificial intelligence, including direct exposure to generative AI technology and deep learning models

  • Outstanding storytelling and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior collaborators and cross-functional partners
