Payroll & Reward Operations Associate (entry - level)

Your mission:

You will provide administrative and data support to payrolls and reward processes to the payroll operations team.

 

What you will do:

  • Maintain administrative trackers, calendars, templates, and process documentation to support efficient payroll team operations.
  •  Prepare, enter, and validate routine payroll and reporting data, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to relevant stakeholders.
  •  Perform basic payroll validation checks and escalate discrepancies or exceptions to the Senior Payroll Operations Specialists.
  • Support the payroll team with data gathering, preparation, and processing activities throughout the payroll cycle.
  • Create, update, and maintain payroll process guidelines and supporting documentation.
  • Respond to routine payroll-related queries from employees, managers, and People Services teams, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in the preparation of standard payroll and reward reports by compiling data, preparing extracts, and maintaining reporting templates.
  • Collaborate with Core People Operations and People Technology teams to resolve basic data issues and obtain missing information.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring errors, data quality concerns, and opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure payroll data is handled confidentially and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

 

What we ask for:

  • Experience in administrative, data processing, or shared services roles is desirable; previous payroll, HR, or People Operations experience is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data, documentation, and administrative tasks.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with payroll and employee data.
  • Ability to follow established processes and procedures while identifying and escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large volumes of data.
  • Experience using HR or payroll systems; SAP SuccessFactors experience would be considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Fluency in English is required to communicate with colleagues in Europe. Latvian language skills would be considered an advantage but are not essential.
