The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for Group Information Systems Directorate (GIS), Data & Corporate Solutions Department (DCS), Data Management Division (DM), Data Engineering Unit (DE), at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a Data Warehouse Officer*.
This is a full-time permanent position at grade 5.

You will design, develop, optimise, and maintain ETL processes that supply the EIB Group's Data Warehouse and Data Lake platforms with high‑quality data. You will play a key role in improving the performance, reliability and accuracy of these data pipelines, supporting the Bank's strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with industry best practices, technological developments and evolving regulatory standards.
You will report to the Head of Data Engineering Unit and works in close cooperation with IT and the Data Governance units. You will cooperate with counterparties from all directorates using the Data Warehouse and Data Lake platforms.
You will work on a daily basis with key external parties (software vendors, providers of outsourced services, peer groups) to optimise service levels and to stay abreast of best practice.

Proficiency is understood to mean the attainment of level 5 of the Inter Institutional language courses, corresponding to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
