HSSE Officer- Immingham- Permanent
About the role
We are looking for an experienced HSSE Officer to join our Immingham team. Reporting to the HSSE Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe, compliant and environmentally responsible operation of our terminals. Working closely with operational teams, contractors and management, you will help ensure compliance with health, safety, security and environmental legislation while promoting a positive HSSE culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
About You
You will be a proactive and motivated HSSE professional with strong communication skills and a passion for driving safe and sustainable operational practices. You will enjoy working collaboratively across teams and have the confidence to influence and support colleagues at all levels. To be successful in this role, you will hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification and have a minimum of three years' experience in a health, safety and environmental role. You will possess strong knowledge of occupational and process safety within a high-hazard environment, a good understanding of COMAH regulations, and practical experience of permit-to-work systems and contractor management. In addition, you will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational, analytical and IT capabilities, and a collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
