Description -

The PS Category Operations Team drives the WW Demand forecast for HP's Personal Systems products. Within this Organization, the ACS Demand Planning Team forecasts Worldwide demand for HP's Workstations, Cloud Clients and Point of Sales products.

This role is responsible for Demand Planning for Product families within the Desktop Thin Clients Product portfolio. Incumbent will be required to load forecast to enable business to meet Fiscal and Calendar shipment goals. The incumbent will ensure that order conversion is maximized while delivering a high level of customer experience. The planner will also ensure that Excess and obsolescence on their products is minimized. The role requires the planner to be accountable for meeting forecast accuracy targets while contributing to ongoing projects and initiatives in the Category Operations area.

Responsibilities:

  • Load Demand Plan for Products assigned

  • Align forecasts to Fiscal and Calendar Quarter shipment goals

  • Align Demand Plan to the Product Life cycle

  • Manage Connect rates for key components and sub-assemblies

  • Ensure high level of Forecast Accuracy while meeting points 1-4 above

  

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a high complexity global supply chain environment in delivering complex manufactured products.

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Experience with analyzing large sets of data.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders (stakeholders ranging from Product Marketing to Business Management).

  • Proficiency in MS Excel is a must.
