YOUR IMPACT – What will you do?
In this role, as an experienced payroll professional, you will take ownership of an important part of our payroll activities:
• Coordinate and prepare payroll processing for Belgium in collaboration with our payroll partner
• Review and process payroll changes (absences, overtime, bonuses, commissions, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with Belgian social legislation, collective labour agreements, and internal policies
• Manage contacts with the social secretariat, NSSO, and other external institutions
• Prepare and review reporting (provisions, HR analyses)
• Support monthly and yearly closing activities (holiday pay, year-end bonuses, tax forms, etc.)
• Act as a point of contact for employees regarding salary-related questions and social documents
• Advise HR on payroll and personnel-related matters
• Actively contribute to the optimisation and digitalisation of payroll processes
• Detect and resolve errors or inconsistencies in payroll data
• Guide and coach junior payroll colleagues
• Contribute to HR projects (implementation of new systems, process harmonisation, etc.)
• Stay up to date with changes in legislation and payroll practices
YOUR PROFILE – What makes you the right match?
• Bachelor’s degree (HR or equivalent) or equivalent experience
• At least 6 years of relevant payroll experience (senior level)
• Strong command of Dutch (essential) and a good basic knowledge of French
• Knowledge of social legislation and payroll processes
• Analytical, accurate, and solution-oriented mindset
• Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
• Proactive and independent, while also being a true team player
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
