The Role

The Investor Relations Manager supports the execution of Invesco's investor relations strategy across peer and consensus analysis, earnings preparation, shareholder intelligence, trading analysis, investor engagement, and other strategic initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial and market information into clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Execute core investor relations activities and support strategic initiatives
  • Track consensus estimates and models covering the P&L, balance sheet, key earnings drivers, AUM and asset flow dynamics, and valuation metrics
  • Analyze peer performance, valuation metrics, and other key disclosures
  • Monitor and report on IVZ trading, including relative performance, total shareholder return, short interest, technical indicators, and market-moving news
  • Assist in the preparation of Board materials and other presentations as necessary
  • Coordinate non-deal roadshows and other investor marketing activities
  • Manage the investor relations inbox and respond to inquiries
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and contribute to initiatives that continuously enhance the effectiveness of the investor relations function

• Support the earnings preparation process
  • Assist in the preparation of earnings materials, including earnings presentations, working closely with Accounting and FP&A
  • Provide Q&A support, including research on key topics and the development of executive-ready responses
  • Compile supporting analysis and documentation for earnings materials
  • Review and summarize peer earnings releases, highlighting key operational and strategic disclosures

• Conduct shareholder analysis and develop actionable insights
  • Analyze the shareholder base for trends in ownership mix, geography, investment style, and other relevant data points
  • Analyze peer holdings and assess ownership trends and targeting opportunities
  • Track shareholder interactions, sentiment, and trading patterns

Requirements of the Role

• At least seven years of experience in finance or a related field, including experience in banking, capital markets, and/or investor relations
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related quantitative discipline
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and corporate finance
• Solid understanding of public company financial statements and working knowledge of SEC filings, disclosure rules, and regulations
• Highly analytical and proficient in financial modeling and analysis
• Excellent writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently
• Experience with investor relations and market data platforms-including Bloomberg, S&P Global Market Intelligence, Visible Alpha, and Nasdaq IR Insight-or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools
• Previous experience in asset management or financial services is a plus
