Compensation Manager (m/f/d)

 

Position:

The role acts as an Compensation Manger with focus on local rewards, translating Global Rewards frameworks into effective Swiss execution, while managing key operational and transformation projects such as payroll outsourcing and optimization, time management system improvements, compensation cycles and employee rewards education.

 

Responsibilities:

As the Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for…

  • Rewards Projects: Coordinate and act as a SPOC for key rewards projects such as payroll and time management optimization together with GBS, DIT and local P&C team
  • Rewards Process: Responsible for global and local rewards practices implementations in line with the set process and deadlines. Support compensation planning activities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, internal equity and external competitiveness. Propose improvements to existing rewards practices locally. Act as the local subject-matter expert on compensation, incentives, benefits and time & payroll-related topics.
  • Rewards Transparency & Employee Education: Drive Rewards transparency and understanding, in line with JTI’s Rewards principles. Develop and deliver employee and manager education initiatives on Rewards.
  • Back-up to Rewards & Org Design Manager: help in compensation related matters, HC planning, MPC budgeting and providing data to finance. Support Rewards team in reporting and compliance matters.
  • Payroll coordination: Support employees in Dagmersellen in payroll related questions and coordinate between organization and external vendor (payroll provider). Ensure local reporting is done in an accurate and timely manner. Support transition and outsourcing process for payroll to external vendor.

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or similar
  • Experience in a related HR or finance field, rewards experience is a plus
  • Outstanding presentation and project management skills as well as an independent way of working
  • Fluent in English and another European language, both spoken and written
