Planning & Procurement Associate

 

Responsible for planning production and material requirements to ensure efficient manufacturing operations and product availability. Supports short-, mid-, and long-term planning activities while coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to maintain optimal inventory and production performance.

 

As a Planning & Procurement Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare daily and mid-term production schedules and maintain accurate planning data and production reports.
  • Develop long-term capacity plans and perform capacity analysis to support business and procurement strategies.
  • Plan material requirements based on production demand, procurement policies, and inventory targets.
  • Raise purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material deliveries within agreed lead times.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) projects by planning material requirements and monitoring material phase-in and phase-out activities.
  • Identify and communicate potential material constraints that may impact product launch timelines or lead to excess inventory and write-offs.
  • Perform other planning-related tasks and projects as assigned by the manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in production planning, material planning, procurement, or a related field.
  • Excellent English and Chinese communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP APO is an advantage.
