R&D RRP Sourcing Inventory & Planning Manager (m/f/d)

Position Purpose:

Shape inventory strategy and supply readiness

The role leads the governance, optimization and deployment of inventory across JTI's RRP markets’ network, ensuring supply continuity, inventory integrity, service performance and efficient use of inventory assets.

Acting as the focal point for inventory and supply readiness, the role translates market requirements, inventory positions and planning assumptions into deployment decisions and recommendations. It aligns Planning & Forecasting, Operations, Finance, Markets, manufacturers and external partners to support business continuity, working capital optimization and supply flexibility.

What will you do:

  • Lead network inventory governance: manage Semi-Finished Goods, packaging-material availability and Finished Goods visibility across JTI RRP markets, while supporting inventory availability, stock health and optimal asset utilization.

  • Shape inventory policies and targets: work with Planning & Forecasting and Finance to develop target levels and stock-health indicators, making service, working capital, write-off risk and supply-continuity trade-offs visible.

  • Drive replenishment and supply readiness: translate market requirements and approved planning assumptions into replenishment needs, align upstream supply plans and production priorities, and lead recovery plans following demand spikes, launches, phase-outs or disruptions.

  • Manage inventory deployment and allocation: govern the use of the product inventory pool across markets and develop allocation scenarios during supply constraints, considering market lifecycle, demand outlook, inventory positions and business priorities.

  • Provide inventory intelligence and recommendations: prepare fact-based options, scenario analysis and risk assessments to support decisions and escalations while protecting market service and limiting unnecessary FG inventory and cash-flow impact.

  • Own inventory performance management: lead KPI governance, stock-health reviews and performance transparency across the network.

  • Drive continuous optimization: identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory levels, service, inventory accuracy, replenishment processes and working capital while reducing write-off exposure.

  • Coordinate cross-functional planning: align Planning & Forecasting, Markets, Operations, Finance, manufacturers and external partners, represent the entity perspective in planning forums, and support the Entity Lead with strategic recommendations.

Who are we looking for - requirements:

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.

  • Minimum five years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics or manufacturing operations.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory governance, network inventory optimization, supply planning, replenishment and allocation management within Supply Chain.

  • Understanding of S&OP / IBP processes and SAP planning systems.

  • Experience in KPI management, data analysis and risk assessment.

  • Strong stakeholder-management and supplier-coordination skills.

  • Experience with SAP, outsourced manufacturing, and FMCG or electronics supply chains is an advantage.

  • Fluent written and spoken English; Polish and/or Japanese is an advantage.

  • Strong ownership, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop recommendations and work effectively across functions.

What we offer:

  • Competitive pay and an attractive annual bonus.

  • Development opportunities in an international environment, with access to diverse projects, learning platforms and professional courses.

  • A culture of trust, ownership and “freedom with responsibility”.

  • Flexible work arrangements, with the possibility to combine office and remote work.

  • Private medical care with options to choose from, plus life insurance.

  • Employee pension and savings programs.

  • JTI Family Leave Benefit, including extended paid paternity leave and fully paid maternity leave.

  • Multisport card and foreign language classes.

  • A modern office in the Art Norblin Factory, including a library, mindfulness zone, spacious kitchen, garden terrace, massage chairs and underground bicycle parking.

  • A diverse and inclusive workplace with colleagues representing over 40 nationalities.
