Job Description


We have an amazing opportunity for a Logistics Finance Intern to join our Finance team in Amsterdam! In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across financial controlling, reporting, forecasting, and business analysis while working closely with experienced finance professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Month-end closing: Support the Controller with closing activities, including reviewing budgets, preparing and booking accruals, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Closing & management reporting: Prepare and take ownership of recurring closing reports, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and provide clear visibility into financial performance.
  • Forecasting: Support the forecasting process by preparing the main reports, gathering and analyzing relevant financial data, and maintaining the files and tools used throughout the process.
  • Financial analysis & reporting: Support the preparation of various financial analyses and reports to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making.
  • Costing: Take ownership of the costing file, ensuring it is maintained accurately and updated in line with the relevant business and financial requirements.
  • Intercompany recharges: Take ownership of the intercompany recharge process, ensuring that recharges are prepared accurately and on time.
  • Projects & ad hoc analysis: Participate in project weeks and support ad hoc reporting and analysis, with the aim of identifying business insights, improvement opportunities, and potential savings initiatives.
  • Process & file management: Support the maintenance and improvement of key controlling files and tools, ensuring data quality, consistency, and efficiency in recurring processes


Job requirements: 
  • You are enrolled at a European university during at least 50% of the internship duration (for EU nationals) or for the full duration of the internship (for non-EU nationals).
  • You have good knowledge of the English language.
  • Good knowledge of MS office, especially Excel!
