As a European Senior Supply Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and executing supply plans that support product availability across 120 markets worldwide. Working at the heart of Royal Canin's Supply Chain organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance business needs, operational realities and future growth ambitions while contributing to planning excellence across a highly dynamic global network. In this role, you will help optimize supply performance, drive decision-making through robust planning processes and support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our end-to-end supply chain capabilities.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Monitor planning performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement actions that improve forecast quality and planning effectiveness.

  • Act as a planning expert during supply constraints, allocation decisions and other complex operational situations requiring cross-functional coordination and sound decision-making.

  • Support innovation, product change and transformation projects by ensuring planning deliverables are executed accurately and on time while maintaining operational continuity.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Planning, Commercial, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Master Data and Supply teams to deliver business objectives.

  • Serve as a technical reference point for the Regional Planning team, by supporting onboarding activities and promoting planning best practices and standards.

  • Contribute to the simplification, standardization and improvement of planning processes while supporting the implementation of new tools, digital capabilities and reporting solutions.

  • Help shape the future of planning by driving a culture of operational excellence, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • Fluency in English; additional European languages, including French, are an advantage.

  • Several years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, ideally within FMCG or a complex manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes, including Supply Planning, Demand Planning and MRP.

  • Experience managing complex planning portfolios and making operational decisions in dynamic business environments.

  • Experience working with advanced planning systems and analytics tools.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

  • A continuous improvement mindset, coupled with the ability to challenge existing ways of working and drive change.

  • A collaborative approach, with a willingness to coach others, share expertise and build organizational capability.
