Your Team Responsibilities:

TheFinancial EngineeringTeamis responsible fordeveloping and implementing the validation processes and procedures for industry adopted financial instruments,statisticsand reporting. Our goal is to ensure the 'highestlevelquality' and the 'fastest time to market' in the industry for financial products. This is an exciting role that liesonthe cusp of finance and technology. As a key member of this team, the candidate will have direct responsibilities for ensuring that MSCI market-leading analytics continue to provideclientsexceptional analytics quality and sophistication. The members of theAnalyticalValidation Team work on complex issues, where analysis isrequiredtodeterminethe root source of problems and associated factors. The candidate must be detail-oriented and capableto performmulti-task assignments ina timelyand independent fashion.

Your Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will learn about our clients' needs andtestthe implementationinour toolsthat fulfil those needs. The members of our team have opportunities to contributetoa broad set of rolesincludingstudying functional, non-functional and analyticalspecifications, developing test plans and test cases, verifying formulas,implementingand using automated test tools. The candidate will be exposeddailyto the following topics. Knowledge of these areas is notrequired.However,a strong motivation to learn isa must.

  • Fixed incomevaluationand Option pricing.
  • Risk management
  • Portfolio construction (rebalancing,backtesting)
  • Factor analytics
  • Python basedAutomation framework for validation of analytics
  • Active participation in an Agile software development team
Your skills and experience that will help you excel:
  • Bachelor's ormaster'sdegreein Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM),quantitative finance,Investment analysis and risk management, or any other highly quantitative subject.
  • 2-4years of experienceinquantitativeprofile in Finance.
  • Some experience with any of the following languages: Java,Scala, Python,MATLAB, SQL, C#.Knowledge ofObject OrientedDesign and Analysis is a plus.
  • Goodanalytical andquantitative skills.Willingness to learn about capital markets.
  • Detail-oriented approach todaily work.
  • Strong written and oralproficiencyin English
  • Strong senseof ownership with projects.Proactivelyidentifyand implement improvements to processes,productsor services.
  • Open tolearnnew,cutting-edgetechnologiesand eager to use AI to improve efficiencies.
