Site Reliability Engineer - Vice President

Your Team Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for change & release deployment, monitoring design & implementation, operational architecture as well as site availability & performance of multiple environments of varying orchestration & management technologies and platforms, ranging from Rancher to Azure Iaas, AKS and GCP. You will partner with development, QA and business teams as part of the Agile Release Train ensuring sustained enhancement delivery with high availability and performance. You will partner with client services, development and infrastructure teams to triage escalations, identify root causes and remediate problems. You will be hands-on, contributing to the overall design, implementation and operation of next-gen CI/CD pipelines.

end process improvements and looking ahead to help shape the

platform for the next phase of its life.

- All aspects of change & release deployment and monitoring.- Design and implementation of monitoring and associated automation.- Environment management, ensuring site reliability and performance.- Continuous improvement of DevOps automations around deployment & runtime operations.- Partner with development team to containerize and/or deploy new technologies.- Triaging escalations, identifying root causes and remediating problems.Your skills and experience that will help you excel:
- We expect strong fintech experience to ensure candidates understand the motivations and pressures of out clients, and will be able to operate at the right pace with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.- Expertise in AI tool usage to accelerate delivery and streamline manual processes- Degree in IT or related fields, from a recognized institution or equivalent experience- Experience with one or more cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)- Experience with helm & Kubernetes- Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration platform (Rancher/AKS)- Expertise with SQL relational databases (MSSQL and Oracle)- Experience with monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana & Splunk- Experience in shell scripting & python- Willingness to learn and use new open-source technologies (Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, etc.)- Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication skillsAbout MSCI:
