Your legal expertise can help shape confident business decisions and protect what matters most. As Senior Legal Manager, you will partner closely with business teams in North Africa and Middle East markets to navigate complex legal matters, manage risk, and develop practical solutions that support Novartis' objectives . You will bring sound judgement to contracts, disputes, litigation, and investigations while contributing to initiatives that strengthen collaboration, culture, and effectiveness across the Legal team.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to provide strategic legal guidance and risk-based solutions.
  • Lead legal support for North Africa and Middle East markets
  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements.
  • Assess legal risks and recommend practical actions to protect business interests.
  • Advise on litigation, investigations, and contract disputes when required.
  • Contribute to legal team initiatives that enhance culture, collaboration, and efficiency.
  • Maintain expertise in relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with admission to practice law in Egypt.
  • Approximately 8 years of legal experience supporting commercial or corporate organizations.
  • Strong ability to provide practical legal advice and balanced risk assessments.
  • Experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on a broad range of commercial agreements.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, French would be a plus
  • Proven success working in a complex matrix environment and partnering with business leaders.
