We are looking for a Senior Tax Specialist who will work in İzmir and be responsible for dealing with tax matters (direct, indirect, transfer pricing, and tax accounting) in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Provide expert advisory and decision support on tax matters, ensuring consistent implementation of tax policies and controls.
  • Contribute to the improvement of tax reporting processes and compliance standards
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of tax administration, including compliance reporting and effective records maintenance.
  • Apply in-depth expertise in tax compliance and the management of tax disputes
  • Resolve multifaceted tax issues that require an understanding of complex regulatory frameworks and cross-border tax challenges.
  • Drive process enhancements by evaluating broader tax matters and integrating inputs from multiple areas of tax expertise.

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a university degree in Tax, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related field,
  • Have at least 4 years of experience in tax matters gained in Big4 audit firm or multinational companies
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Be collaborative, customer-oriented, a team player, and a quick learner
  • Knowledge of customs tax and related processes is a strong plus
  • SAP knowledge is considered an asset
