We are looking for a “Waiter with the qualifications below:

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well under the pressure of coordinating many requests at any given time
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays if necessary
• Knowledge of  POS device
• Service knowledge
• Spoken and written fluency in English

Job Description:

• Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any
• Suggest food and beverages to the guests and also try to up-sell
• Take food and beverage orders from the guests on the order taking pads
• Making sure that the order is correct by repeating them to the guests
• Entering the food and beverage in our Micros System
• Mise-en-Place / adhering to the duties check-lists
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor/manager
• Filling in for absent staff as needed
• Communicate to the guests and provide assistance with their queries
• Coordinate with different departments (i.e. bar/kitchen etc.) to ensure smooth operation and guests satisfaction
• Promptly respond to the guests with any additional requests
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
• Is aware of allergy procedure
• Is familiar with all tasting-notes from all menu items (food and beverage)
• Help other areas of the restaurant when needed
• Is familiar with the waiter-cashing out procedure
• Making sure that a proper handover has been done before leaving the shift
